I’ve spent 10-15 hours studying per week since March and finally took the GMAT a couple of weeks ago. I’ve found that the best way to score well on the GMAT is to learn the fundamentals, do a lot of practice questions, and do a lot of timed practice tests. I did seven practice tests over 4 months, taking two test the last week before my exam.

My score was over the 90th percentile, so it should put me in the running at my target schools. It’s a relief to have the test over with, but now I’m taking a summer class to brush up on my math, and will soon have to focus on essays and applications — so it’s not like my workload has really decreased now that the test is over with…
